Nissan recalls 24,793 Rogue vehicles for likely fuel pump overheating

Nissan North America is recalling 24,793 model year 2021 Rogues.

The automobile manufacturer said the abnormal wear inside the fuel pump may cause it to overheat and fail.

According to Nissan, fuel pump failure may cause an engine stall, increasing the risk of a crash.

In respect of what to do in correcting the error, the company stated that dealers would  replace the fuel pump assembly free of charge.

Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed January 26, 2022.

Meanwhile, affected vehicle owners may contact Nissan Customer Service on (800) 867-7669, and Nissan’s number for this recall is R21B8.
