The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has said its operatives intercepted 40,250 km of Codeine worth over N2billion imported into Nigeria in two 40ft containers from India.

绿帽献妻 gathered the Mr. Femi Babafemi, Spokesman of NDLEA, stated this Thursday, February 10, 2022.

Babafemi said the NDLEA鈥檚 seizures followed intelligence from foreign partners and cooperation of other port stakeholders, including the Nigeria Customs, Department of State Services (DSS), the Nigerian Navy, and other regulatory agencies.

The latest drug bust apparently comes on the heels of the reported similar seizure of 14,080kg Codeine Syrup in a 40ft container imported into the country Wednesday last week, from India.
