In response to ban on air travel by several countries of the world, Russia has restricted flights from 36 countries.

ÂÌñÏ×ÆÞ learnt the Russian Government has decided to restrict flights from 36 countries after several countries have also banned Russia from their airspace, following the invasion of Ukraine.

The ban will apply to flights from countries, such as the United Kingdom (UK) and Germany.

In a similar vein, the Russian Government has banned its citizens from transferring money abroad amid its ongoing special military operation in Ukraine.

Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin reportedly told his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron that Ukraine solution is possible, only if Russia’s security interests are considered in the course of the discussions, said Sputnik.

The source also confirmed that negotiations between the delegations of Russia and Ukraine had ended.

Negotiators from both sides would return to Moscow and Kyiv for consultations before the 2nd round of talks, according to report.

It is the fifth day since President Putin declared war on Ukraine, leading to heavy fighting and airstrikes across the country.

Ukraine, however, stated that 352 civilians had been killed since Russia invaded the country.

Ukraine has said their goal for the talks was an immediate ceasefire.

Meanwhile, Russian President Putin has directed his defence minister and chief of the military’s General Staff to put the country’s nuclear deterrent forces in a “special regime of combat duty.”

Responding to Russian aggression in Ukraine, Belgium, Finland and Canada have joined the list of countries that have shut down their airspace to Russian planes.

Likewise, Western countries, led by the US, also announced a new set of ‘heavy’ economic sanctions on Russia.
