Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has launched the ultra-modern GAC Motor showroom, on Victoria Island, Lagos.

Sanwo-Olu Thursday, July 7 commended the Chairman of CIG Motors, the franchise holder of GAC in Nigeria, Chief Diana Chen, for 鈥渄oing a great job.鈥�

The governor also unveiled the newly improved award winning GS4 Crossover SUV, which is a very popular model on Nigerian roads.

Jubril Arogundade, General Manager of CIG Motors, at the commissioning event said the 鈥淕S4 which is in its second generation, comes with ample leg room, three driving modes, amazing comfort and fuel economy as well as seamless navigation system.鈥�

Earlier, the governor was conducted on a tour of the newly re-built state-of-the- art GAC workshop equipped with different sections such as express maintenance, general repair, four-wheel alignment, spray booth, metal repair, polishing and body mechanical, report said.

The company had earlier signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Wema Bank, as the bank undertakes to finance another batch of 1,000 GAC units.

GAC vehicles, coming mainly as sedans and Sports Utility Vehicles (SUV), are already being used across the country.
