As both issues continue to dominate public discourse in recent times, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Wednesday, January 25, 2023, alleged fuel scarcity and Naira redesign policy are plans to scuttle the 2023 General Elections.

Addressing teeming supporters at the MKO Abiola Stadium, Kuto, in Abeokuta, Ogun State capital, during his party’s presidential campaign, Tinubu said: “They don’t want this election to hold. They want to sabotage it. Will you allow them?â€

He, however, vowed that Nigerians would defy the fuel scarcity and trek to cast their votes in the forthcoming elections, according to report.

The former Lagos State Governor noted that the February 2023 polls would be a superior revolution in Nigeria.

Tinubu reportedly stated: “They have started coming up with the issue of ‘no fuel’.

“Don’t worry, if there is no fuel, we will trek to cast the vote.”

He added: “If you like increase price of fuel, hide the fuel or change the ink on the Naira notes, we will win the election.”
