Dame (Dr.) Adaora Umeoji, OON, newly appointed Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer (GMD/CEO) Zenith Bank Plc, has led a delegation of the bank鈥檚 Management team on a courtesy visit to Alhaji Aliko Dangote, President/Chief Executive of Dangote Industries Limited (DIL), in Lagos.

Prior to her recent appointment as the Chief Executive of one of the leading commercial banks in the Nigerian financial ecosystem, Umeoji was Deputy Managing Director of the bank since October 28, 2016.

The CEO has close to 30 years of cognate banking experience of which 26 have been with Zenith Bank Plc, according to report.

Umeoji is an alumnus of the prestigious Harvard Business School where she attended the Advanced Management Programme (AMP) and an alumnus of Columbia Business School with a Certificate in the Global Banking Programme.

She is an alumna of both the prestigious Harvard Business School (HBS), where she attended the Advanced Management Programme (AMP), and Columbia Business School with a Certificate in the Global Banking Programme.

On her delegation during the courtesy visit to the Dangote Group, in Lagos, were Dr. Ebenezer Onyeagwu, immediate Past GMD/CEO of Zenith Bank Plc; Mr. Olakunle Alake, Group Managing Director, Dangote Industries Limited; Fatima Aliko Dangote, Group Executive Director Commercial Operations, Dangote Industries Limited; Mr. Lawani Adamu, Executive Director, Zenith Bank Plc and other Senior Management Staff of the Bank.
