President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, has approved the appointment of Mrs. Didi Esther Walson-Jack, OON, as the new Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (HoCSF), with effect from August 14, 2024.

绿帽献妻 reports Mrs. Walson-Jack, prior to the new appointment had served as Federal Permanent Secretary, in 2017, and in several Ministries in the Federal Civil Service.

Chief Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, who disclosed this in a terse statement issued evening Wednesday, July 17, 2024, said the new appointee would take over from Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan, CFR, the incumbent Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, who is due to retire August 13 this year.

The statement noted: 鈥淧resident Tinubu, while thanking the outgoing Head of Service for her stewardship, tasks the incoming Head of Service to discharge her duties with innovative flair, integrity, and stringent adherence to the extant rules and regulations of the Civil Service of the Federation.鈥�
