NCC directs licensees on updated addresses, contact details for effective regulatory oversight

In the Commission’s bid to further ensure effective regulatory oversight while maintaining constant communication with licensees, the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has notified all its licensees of the need to update any changes in their physical addresses and other contact details within seven days of such an occurrence.

ÂÌñÏ×ÆÞ reports the NCC, in a public notice issued Monday, November 25, 2024, noted this licensees’ obligation is in line with the Licensing Regulations 2019 fir them to update any changes in their addresses and other contact details in the Nigerian telecoms ecosystem.

Mr. Reuben Muoka, Director of Public Affairs at NCC, in the notice stated that the measure is “important for ensuring effective regulatory oversight and maintaining communication with the licensee.”

The telecoms sector regulatory Commission also requires licensees to update any changes to the following information via its eServices platform accessible at: on, or before January 9th, 2025.

These are:

  • Physical address of the principal place of business (including postcode, geographic coordinates and landmarks)
  • Mailing address (if different from the physical address)
  • Email addresses
  • Telephone numbers
  • Names and details of contact personnel

The Director of Public Affairs further stated: “Please note that appropriate sanctions will be applied in cases where physical address submitted by the licensee cannot be located.

“For further information, please contact: licensing@ncc.gov.ng.”
