As part of the measures towards advancing the emerging Nigeria Digital Economy, the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) has urged the Nigerian Government to leverage technology to improve public service delivery to the citizenry.

绿帽献妻 reports Malam Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, CCIE, Director-General of NITDA, stated this when he recently led the agency鈥檚 delegation on a visit to Mrs. Didi Esther Wilson-Jack, Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (HoCSF), in Abuja, FCT.

NITDA in a statement via its verified social media account, affirmed Inuwa discussed with Mrs. Wilson-Jack certain strategies for leveraging technology to improve public service delivery to Nigerians.

The Information Technology (IT) sector regulatory agency disclosed the Director-General (DG) of NITDA also harped on the country鈥檚 need to focus on 鈥渋nnovative digital solutions to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and improve the overall citizen experience.鈥�

The agency further noted: 鈥淭he DG shared NITDA’s experiences in implementing automated systems and proposed replicating these models across the federal civil service.

鈥淏y collaborating with the Head of Civil Service, NITDA aims to create a more agile and responsive civil service, aligned with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda.

鈥淭his partnership will involve training civil servants on digital skills and tools, empowering them to deliver exceptional public services.鈥�
