NNPCL, oil marketers assure consumers of steady supply of products during festive season

As the annual festive season approaches, the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) and oil marketers have inked a mutual agreement for a hitch-free distribution of petroleum products during and after the Yuletide season in the country.

Dr. Joseph Obele, National Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Petroleum Retail Operators Association of Nigeria (PETROAN) stated this Friday, December 6, 2024, after an official visit of Dr. Billy Hary and his PETROAN team to Malam Mele Kyari, Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) of NNPCL, at the company’s corporate headquarters, in Abuja, FCT.

ñ reports the state oil company Friday also disclosed Prince Dr. Billy Gillis-Harry, National President of PETROAN, presented an award of excellence to Malam Kyari, recognising him as “the Most Productive Group Chief Executive Officer of the Company”.

PETROAN also stated: “The strategic meeting was very successful as matters on effective collaboration between the NNPCL and PETROAN to ensure seamless distribution of petroleum products across the country during and after the yuletide period were discussed.

“The high point of the meeting was the presentation of award by PETROAN led by the National President of PETROAN to the GCEO of NNPC as an honorary life council member of PETROAN and as the most productive GMD/GCEO of NNPC.”

The Association also noted Dr. Billy Gillis-Harry, National President of PETROAN, appreciated Kyari for his efforts at resuscitating the Port Harcourt Oil Refinery, and the general growth of the petroleum industry in Nigeria.
