In furtherance of the agency鈥檚 collaborative efforts at adopting technology for Nigeria’s digital empowerment and inclusive economic growth, the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) has stressed the need for use of modern technology to boost agricultural production for food security.

绿帽献妻 reports Malam Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, CCIE, Director-General of NITDA, stated this while playing hosted to Hon. Jabiru Abdullahi Tsauri, the newly-appointed National Coordinator of African Union Development Agency-New Partnership for Africa鈥檚 Development (AUDA-NEPAD), and his team during a recent courtesy visit to Inuwa in his office, in Abuja, FCT.

The Information Technology (IT) sector regulatory agency noted that Inuwa and Hon. Tsauri also discussed potential partnerships to enhance agricultural development through modern technology.

The heads of the two government agencies also touched on the use of NITDA’s available data for efficient tracking and workflow in this regard.

The Director-General of NITDA as well also expressed the agency鈥檚 readiness to collaborate with AUDA-NEPAD for inclusive development of the African continent.

Inuwa further emphasised the importance of combining technology with accurate knowledge for effective delivery, and achieving Nigeria’s digital empowerment and inclusive economic growth.
