The Nigerian Government has continued to deploy digital innovations to preserve and showcase the West African country’s rich history of National Service, to promote national unity and youth engagement.

ñ reports Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Thursday, January 23, 2025, officially commissioned the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) “Digital Museum of Dynamic History” at the NYSC National Directorate Headquarters, in Abuja, FCT.

Malam Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, CCIE, Director-General of the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), and Brigadier-General Y. D. Ahmed, Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), as well as other top government officials joined First Lady Tinubu in celebrating the remarkable milestone in the country’s digital transformation journey.

In its remarks on the occasion, NITDA in a blog note stated: “The NYSC is leveraging digital innovation to preserve and showcase Nigeria’s rich history of National Service, fostering national unity and youth engagement.”
