Federal Civil Service Commission confirms recruitment in progress, urges Nigerians to apply via online portal

Nigeria’s Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC) has confirmed the commencement of recruitment exercises into various positions within the Federal Civil Service across the country.

ñ reports the Commission, however, had earlier discredited certain reports of any ongoing recruitment, while promising to announce when it would commence the exercise “officially”.

Affirming the activation of the recruitment exercise, Taiwo Hassan, Head of Press and Public Relations at the Commission, in a statement issued Monday, January 27, 2025, urged interested and eligible Nigerians to apply for the available positions through the .

Hassan noted that applicants are eligible to apply for “one position” only.

“The Federal Civil Service Commission is receiving applications for various vacancies in the Federal Civil Service.

“The vacancy announcement is published on the Commission’s website: www.fedcivilservice.gov.ng, and in national newspapers.”

The FCSC further stated: “Eligible applicants are to apply for only one position via the application link: .

“Applicants who are physically challenged should state the nature of their disability.

“Applicants are to upload the following documents as applicable: i) Curriculum Vitae ii) Ph.D/Master’s Degree Certificate, iii) Degree/HND/NCE Certificate, iv) WAEC/NECO/NABTEB Certificate, v) Primary School Certificate, vi) NYSC discharge/exemption/exclusion certificate, vii) Birth Certificate/Declaration of Age, viii) Local Government Identification, and ix) Recent Passport photograph.”

Hassan stated: “All applications are to be submitted on or before Monday, 10th March, 2025.”
