NITDA, Institute mull partnership to advance policy development, digital literacy

In continuation of its multi-stakeholder partnerships, the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) Nigeria is considering a potential collaboration with the

Results for Development Institute.

ÂÌñÏ×ÆÞ reports Malam Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, CCIE, Director-General of NITDA, disclosed this while receiving Mr. Thomas Feeny, Senior Programme Director & Innovation Practice Lead at Results for Development Institute, along with his team, Tuesday, March 18, 2025, on a courtesy visit to the agency’s Corporate Headquarters, in Abuja, FCT.

The Information Technology (IT) sector regulatory agency, in a post on its verified social media account, noted Inuwa said the Institute’s visit aimed “to explore potential areas of collaboration in policy development, as well as support government initiatives in the agriculture and energy sectors.”

NITDA further said during the discussions, Inuwa emphasised the need for building human capital and strengthening digital infrastructure in the ecosystem.

The objective is to enhance digital literacy, a critical driver for economic growth and national development in Nigeria, stated he.
