In a bid to build a robust Nigeria Digital Economy, stakeholders have advocated measures to advance conversations that drive innovation and sustainability across the industry.

ÂÌñÏ×ÆÞ reports Abayomi Adebanjo, Director of Legal (Global & Regional Business Affairs) at MainOne and one of the key speakers, stated this in a recent thought-provoking panel discussion for industry stakeholders on the implementation of the Critical National Information Infrastructure (CNII) Order, which the Policy Implementation Assisted Forum (PIAFo) organised in Lagos recently.

Adebanjo, who spoke on the topic, “Appraisal of Data Centre Infrastructure Risks in the Scheme of CNII Implementation”, at the 7th Edition of PIAFo, emphasised the need for incentives for data centres to minimise energy costs and drive data domiciliation and localisation policies. MainOne, in a note after the forum stated the expert said the move would spur growth in data centre industry, and further enable the country’s emerging digital economy.
