The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has released a new update on the ongoing application verification process in Nigeria.

The Board in a statement Friday, August 1, 2025, asked applicants to verify their information and complete the submission process through the official portal.

CDCFIB stated: 鈥淯pon successful completion, an application slip will be generated with the same Application ID previously generated.”

It also clarified that the official update portal is strictly for those who had submitted their applications before the recent system upgrade.

The Board said: 鈥淚f you have submitted a new application after the upgrade, your latest submission will override any previous entries and will not be visible on this update portal.”
