Hon. Abdulmumin Jibrin Kofa, lawmaker representing Kiru/Bebeji Federal Constituency, Kano State in the House of Representatives, National Assembly (NASS) again, met with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Sunday, August 10, 2025, behind closed doors, in the Presidential Villa, Abuja, FCT.

ÂÌñÏ×ÆÞ reports this is the second time in less than two weeks that the Federal legislator would be visiting President Tinubu behind closed doors in Abuja.

The meeting, which lasted almost two hours, held from 9p.m. till around 11p.m. Sunday.

Though Hon. Jibrin Kofa did not reveal details of the meeting, inside sources however, said it might not be unconnected to the relationship between Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, a former Kano State Governor and Minister, President Tinubu, and the reported anti-APC sentiments in some quarters in Northern Nigeria.

Asked about the purpose of the second meeting by State House Correspondents, the lawmaker declined to comment further.

Ten days earlier when he visited, Jibrin had told the reporters that he discussed “issues of national development“with the President.
