Tinubu leaves Abuja for Equatorial Guinea on official visit Wednesday

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Wednesday, August 14, 2024, is expected to depart Abuja, FCT, for Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, on a three-day official visit to honour the invitation of President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo.

While in the country, Chief Ajuri Ngelale, Presidential Spokesman, stated that Tinubu would meet with Equatorial Guinean President Mbasogo at the Presidential Villa on arrival.

The duo would also hold meetings, as well as sign agreements, particularly on oil and gas.

The President will be accompanied on the trip by Amb. Yusuf Tuggar, Honourable Minister for Foreign Affairs, while other members of his cabinet would sign agreements and review of opportunities to improve bilateral relations between Nigeria and Equatorial Guinea.
