In a bid to promote skincare education and wellness across Nigeria, Konga Health, a leading technology-enabled distributor of health and beauty products, is set to engage students tertiary institutions in a series of skincare consultations, product sampling, and expert-led tutorials.

Konga, which disclosed this development in a statement Monday, March 9, 2025, said the initiative, which begins March this year, would hold in select tertiary institutions in Lagos State.

The skincare education and wellness campaign aims to empower young adults with the knowledge and tools to make informed skincare choices while fostering a culture of self-care and confidence.

The statement noted the campaign would commence at Lagos State University (LASU) Thursday, March 13, followed by Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) Friday, March 14, 2025.

Other institutions set to benefit include the University of Lagos (UNILAG), Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), Ikeja, and the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), Idi-Araba, with specific dates to be announced via Konga Health’s social media handles, the company said.

Konga further disclosed the skincare and wellness initiative would feature panel discussions with dermatologists and skincare advocates, providing students with insights into skincare best practices, common misconceptions, and the science behind maintaining healthy skin.

It stated the students also would have the opportunity to engage directly with experts, ask questions, and receive personalised advice based on their unique skin types and concerns.

Konga Health, which has an exclusive partnership with L’Oréal, the world’s largest cosmetics brand, will offer free product sampling, allowing students to experience quality skincare products firsthand. Giveaways of beauty products are also planned as part of the campaign, the statement noted.

Konga Health added the initiative aligns with its broader commitment to promoting health and wellness, particularly among young adults, by encouraging early adoption of proper skincare habits in Nigeria.
