Dangote Refinery slashes petrol ex-depot price by N30 to N820 per litre

Dangote Petroleum Refinery, once more, has announced a reduction in the ex-depot (gantry) price of the Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), also known as from initial N850 to N820 per litre, effective from Tuesday, August 12, 2025.

Dangote said the decision to reduce the gantry price of its PMS is part of the company’s unwavering commitment to national development.

Mr. Anthony Chiejina, Group Chief Branding and Communications Officer at Dangote Group, Tuesday, August 12, 2025, stated that Dangote Petroleum Refinery “assures the public of a consistent and uninterrupted supply of petroleum products.”

Chiejina also stated: “In line with our dedication to operational excellence and sustainable energy solutions, Dangote Petroleum Refinery will commence the phased deployment of 4,000 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG)-powered trucks for fuel distribution across Nigeria, effective August 15, 2025.”
