Samsung has again, redefined the foldable smartphone experience with the official unveiling of its latest innovations: the Galaxy Z Fold7, Galaxy Z Flip7, and Galaxy Z Flip7 FE.

The smartphone company’s latest product offerings represent the most significant advancement in foldable technology to date, combining ultra-slim design with cutting-edge artificial intelligence capabilities.

The Galaxy Z Fold7 sets new standards in foldable smartphone engineering, weighing less than the Samsung S25 Ultra and 24 grams lighter than the Z Fold6.

These new offerings are the thinnest and lightest in the series to date, measuring about as slim as standard smartphones when folded and nearly half as thin as Samsung’s earliest foldable designs.

Pre-orders for the new devices are now open.

The company has announced consumers can now pre-order at authorised retail partner stores across Nigeria, like Konga, the e-commerce giant.

Meanwhile, Konga has said it is also offering extra freebies, in addition to what Samsung has promised smartphone consumers.

According to Konga, pre-orders began from July 10, 2025, through July 31 this year.

Customers, who pre-order any of the new Samsung Galaxy Z smartphones will enjoy free gifts worth over one million Naira, the company stated.

Since pioneering the foldable phone category in 2019, Samsung has maintained its leadership in the segment, and the latest devices clearly show why.

The Galaxy Z Fold7 features an immersive 6.5-inch cover screen and unfolds to an expansive 8-inch main display, making it the biggest display in the series so far. It鈥檚 powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chip, which is custom-engineered by Samsung and Qualcomm for peak performance.

The cover display is built with Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2, offering increased crack resistance and protection.
